Research Paper Description	Poor The research topic is unclear and needs to be more focused. Research questions are too broad and need to be more focused.	Fair The research topic is partially identified and research questions need only minor adjustment or correction.	Good The research topic is clearly stated and a convincing argument put forward about the importance of solving it.
Fieldwork Description	Poor The fieldwork is unclear and doesn't relate to the topic. Description is vague and lacks specifics. Fieldwork physical project is unfocused on incomplete.	Fair The fieldwork is partially related to the research paper. Description and specifics need minor adjustments. Fieldwork physical project needs minor adjustments to remain consistent with topic.	Good The fieldwork has a clear purpose that is clearly related to the research paper. Description is concrete and specific. Fieldwork physical project is consistent with topic.
Learning Stretch	Poor No significant evidence that the project will prove any learning stretch.	Fair Some potential evidence of learning stretch has been considered, but little said about how these might be overcome.	Good Possible project learning stretch difficulties have been identified that will prove a growth in the individual.
Presentation	Poor Presenter rushes through presentation (lacks confidence in topic), doesn't make eye contact, lacks preaeration, and uses "like" and "umms" through presentation. Presenter cannot be heard and/or poor posture.	Fair Presenter has some confidence in topic and preparation is obvious. Posture is okay and presenter attempts to make eye contact with audience. Pacing may be rushed.	Good Presenter speaks with confidence and understanding of project. Good posture and eye contact. Good pacing of presentation and speaks to the entire audience.
