Discussion and collaboration	Good All questions have been discussed with student's help. The student's quality of work was exceptional and effective to completing the task. On task at all times. Depth of thought was higher level.	Fair Some questions have been discussed with student's help. The student's quality of work effective to completing the task somewhat. On task most of the time. Depth of thought is fair but could have more effort.	Poor Discussion required the student to help. The student's quality of work was poor and/or off task. Needed more effort to complete the task.
Number of quality statements	Good Student is able to make 3 or more comparisons statements for each text and its question. A specific example from each text was included, and the comparison and the contrasting show depth of thought and/or global thinking.	Fair Student is able to make at least 2 comparison statements for each text and its question.A specific example from each text was included, but either the comparison or the contrasting was not included.	Poor Student makes less than 2 comparison statements in each circle. A specific example from each book was included, but was not compared nor contrasted.
Neatness	Good Handwriting is neat and easily read.	Fair Most handwriting is neat and easily read.	Poor Majority of handwriting is not neat or easily read.
