Vocabulary and content	Level 1 Does not incorporate at least 5 vocabulary words and/or short story is off topic. Story is not in passe compose.	Level 2 Limited to basic words and phrases; often inaccurate use of words and phrases. Some parts of story are in passe compose.	Level 3 Functional; fails to communicate meaning.
