Costume Design Costume Design You are expected to design a costume, appropriate to character and time period, for one to five of the main characters of the play and write a supporting paragraph for each costume explaining why you created this costume for the character. Creativity	30 Costumes have rich, attractive patterns that are both pleasing to the eye as well as functionally accurate.	20 Costumes use fairly attractive patterns and are relatively functionally accurate.	10 Costumes are somewhat unappealing to the eye and are not very functional.	5 Costumes are unattractive, messy, and lack functionality.
Accuracy	30 Costumes are at least 90% accurate to the play/character and time period. Completed five required costumes.	20 Costumes are 89-80% accurate to the play/character and time period. Completed four required costumes.	10 Costumes are 79-70% accurate to the play/character and time period.
