The participants did not look at the audience at all.
GOOD
The participants barely looked that audience.
VERY GOOD
The participants kept occasional eye contact with their audience.
EXCELLENT
The participants kept eye contact during the whole presentation.
SLIDES
POOR
The presentation did not comply with the minimum number of slides required (20 slides minimum).
GOOD
The presentation has between 15 and 17 slides in total.
VERY GOOD
The presentation has between 18 and 20 slides in total.
EXCELLENT
The presentation has 20 or more well-made slides.
IMAGES
POOR
The images are pixelated, distorted, discoloured, or they have watermarks.
GOOD
The images do not have watermarks but are either distorted, discoloured, or pixelated.
VERY GOOD
The images are good quality, but some of them are discoloured, or pixelated, or blurry.
EXCELLENT
The images are very good quality, they are clear, do not have any watermarks.
TEXT ON SLIDES
POOR
The slides have too much text (more than eight lines).
GOOD
The slides have between 7 and 8 lines of text.
VERY GOOD
The slides have between 6 and 7 lines of text.
EXCELLENT
The slides have no more than five lines of text, and they only refer to key words.
VOICE
POOR
The team either whispered or mumbled, and it was hard to make out what they were saying. It was evident they were nervous.
GOOD
It was easy to hear the team, but their voices quivered a little and it was noticeable they were nervous.
VERY GOOD
The students managed to overcome their nerves and made an effort to control their tone of voice.
EXCELLENT
There was a very good tone of voice, very good volume, and the students conveyed their meaning convincingly through a very confident use of their voices.
