Cooking Techniques 1 pts Students employ various cooking techniques to gain the greatest flavor from the food.	Poor Student was unsure of what cooking method to use for the assigned food items. Student did not apply the correct methods.	Fair Student had vague idea of cooking method to be used for assigned food item. Student applied some of the correct cooking methods.	Good Student understood and applied correct cooking methods to all assigned food items.
Flavor 1 pts Students made use of herbs and spices to season otherwise bland food.	Poor Student use spices and herbs incorrectly in prepared dish. Students dish was unpalatable.
