B Good Explains the context of the poem, why it was written, and the significance. All of these are included in some detail.	C Satisfactory Explains the context of the poem, why it was written, and the significance. Some of these are included in some detail.	D Needs work Does not explain the context of the poem, why it was written, or the significance in any detail.
Analysis & Interpretation	A Excellent Makes complete and detailed responses to the poem. Uses a variety of specific supporting examples from the poem that reflect original thinking, insight and understanding. Alternative viewpoints/interpretations included where relevant.	B Good Makes detailed responses for the most part. Uses a variety of specific supporting examples from the poem that reflect original thinking, insight and understanding. Sometimes alternative viewpoint/interpretationincluded where relevant.	C Satisfactory Responses to the poem are mostly very obvious, although attempts have been made to discuss deeper aspects of the poem.
