Demonstrates poor understanding of course fundamentals & objectives. Cannot adequately identify or explain key principles. Misinterprets or does not follow through on instructions, assignments. Shows poor organization, presentation, documentation, or explanation of course basics in his/her work. Fails to use course terminology/models/theory in both oral & written assignments accurately or at all.

Demonstrates sufficient understanding of course fundamentals & objectives. Can accurately identify and adequately explain most key principles. Follows through on instructions, assignments with at least 70% accuracy & consistency. May need some improvement on organization, presentation, documentation of work. Uses course terms/models/theories in oral & written assignments with at least 70% accuracy & consistency.

Demonstrates clear, accurate & complete understanding of course fundamentals & objectives. Can easily & accurately identify & explain key principles. Always follows through on instructions & assignments; organizes, presents, documents and explains course basics thoroughly throughout his/her work. Often integrates relevant material, info/data or experience in assignments, exercises, discussions. Always measures, collects, organizes & evaluates data/info correctly & accurately. Judgments & recommendations are logical & highly supportable. Models new learning effectively in helping others achieve success.
