Preparation	Excellent Delivers a clear understanding of historical style with creativity, energy and individuality. Leaves the class with a clear understanding of the material.	Very Good Delivers an understanding of historical style with creativity, energy and individuality. Leaves the class with a fair understanding of the material.	Good Delivers an understanding of historical style without creativity and energy - lacks ability to convey material with insight.	Unacceptable Inadequate preparation.
Presentation/Performance	Excellent Delivers presentation with energy and excitement. Captures movement and staging of the period in a creative way. Well rehearsed with knowledge and understanding of the assignment	Very Good Good energy and some sense of performance. Captures movement and staging of the period in a somewhat creative way. 1 or 2 pauses and/or delays in presentation but looks well rehearsed.	Good Student needs to work on the following: preparation and energy in delivery, understanding of historical style.	Unacceptable Student is having difficulty with projection of presentation, many pauses, appears to lack preparation and interest.
