Fair Covers a fair amount, but is missing some of the main ideas of the story. Report is nearly complete and accurate.	Good Newspaper is based on information provided in the text and course notes, a decent knowledge of the material is evident.	Excellent Student is in command of the material and shows through and insightful information based on the text.
Thinking/Inquiry	Poor Very minimal amount of work has been done. Highly lacking in effort and/or creativity.	Fair Fair amount of effort and creativity has been put forth. Newspaper includes at least one witness statement.	Good Considerable amount of effort and creativity has been put forth. Newspaper includes at least two witness statements.	Excellent Obvious amounts of effort have been made. Newspaper is complete with an accurate report of the events in the text. Includes pictures, commentary and other student-generated creative components.
