Thank You Guidelines

(1) Hand write your thank you letter. (2) Place the date in the upper right hand corner. Spell out the month. Ex. April 3, 2011 (4/3/11 is not used).

(3) Use adequate margins. Approx. 1 1/4 inches on the left side and 3/4 inch on the right side. <BR>
(4) Place the salutation (ex. "Dear Mrs. Smith") at the left margin.

(5) Indent the first line of each paragraph. Bring each subsequent line out to the left margin.

(6) Place the complimentary close as far right as the date at the top of the page. "Sincerely," "Sincerely yours," or "Love" for a family member of close friend.
