Does not seem to understand the topic very well. Lists hobbies with no examples or no detailed examples to elaborate and support presentation information.

Good

Student spoke clearly with natural pausing between points. Grammar mistakes were kept to a minimum.

Student spoke clearly with one or two unnatural pauses with up to 5 to 8 grammar mistakes.

Student had many unnatural pauses. Student's speech was unintelligble with over twelve grammar mistakes.
Stays on topic/Form

Good

Stays on topic all (100%) of the time. Introduces topic. Does not stray from topic and always relates information back to the main idea.
Fair

Stays on topic some (89%-75%) of the time. Introduction and conclusion are unclear. Strays from topic and takes a while to relate back to main idea.
Poor

It was hard to tell the beginning of the speech from the middle and the end. Severly, off topic.
