Healthy Eating Project Healthy Eating Project Students will create a lunch box containing a nutritious lunch with food from the food pyramid chart. The lunch box will contain pictures of healthy foods based on the "Healthy Eating" unit which encourages active play and making healthy choices. Healthy Eating Assignment Students will create a lunch box containing food from each of the 4 food groups.
	Poor The student demonstrated poor understanding of the material and did not successfully complete the assignment 2 pts	Fair The student showed moderate understanding of the material and adequately completed the assignment with some room for improvement 3 pts	Good The student had a very good understanding of the material and completed what was asked of them 4 pts
Content How many food groups did they place in their lunch box?	Poor Student chose one or two food groups.	Fair Students chose 3 of the four food groups.	Good Students chose all of the four food groups.
Appropriate choices Did the student place healthy items in their lunch box?	Poor The student chose no healthy food items.	Fair The student chose only one healthy food item from their food groups.	Good The student chose two or more healthy food items from their food groups.
Creative/Neatness	Poor Very few colours used. Only used some of the space on the paper. Missing title and name.	Fair Colourful, used two or three colours. Used half of the paper for their assignment. Includes a title. Missing name.	Good Very colourful, used three or more colours. Used the full page for their assignment. Includes title and name.
