Civil War Project Civil War Project This a project that should include some aspect of the Civil War e.g. a major battle, a military or political figure, an important event or turning point, or aspects of life during the Civil War into a Diorama or 3D project. Not all possible topics have been listed. You are encouraged to speak to the teacher about your project to get an ideas or help needed. This project should be colorful, attractive, and FUN! Grammar and Format	Poor The grammar used is incorrect and hard to understand.	Fair Most of the grammar used in the project is correct and easy to understand.	Excellent All grammar is correct and easy to understand.
Information	Poor The information necessary for the project is either missing or incorrect. The student displays no understanding of the topic.	Fair The information necessary for the project is mostly there. There may be some parts missing or parts that are incorrect. They student may not have a real understanding of the topic.	Excellent All information necessary for the project is necessary and correct. The way in which it is displayed shows that the student has a full grasp of the topic.
Creativity	Poor The project does not display ANY creativity. It is lacking color and pictures. It does not appear as if much effort was taken with the project. It does not attract attention.	Fair The project displays SOME creativity. There is some color and picture. Overall the project has some creative aspects that attract attention.	Excellent The project displays a lot of creativity. There are colors, pictures, and other multimedia aspects. It is apparent that great attention was given to detail. The final product is both attractive and pleasing to the eye.
