Used as an all-purpose organizer for 6th-12th grade chorus rehearsals. This outlines what students need to do to obtain top marks for the rehearsal portion of their grade.

On Time

1

Student is late getting to rehearsal and does NOT have a pass.
2

Student is on time getting to the music room, but takes too much time getting ready for rehearsal.
3

Student is late to rehearsal, but has a pass. The student is ready quickly and does not interrupt the class.

Student is on time and quickly ready for rehearsal.
Prepared

1

Student forgets folder and won't go get it.
2

Student forgets folder, but does go and get it. The student does not open it up for the entire rehearsal.
3

Student forgets to get the music folder, but quickly goes to get it when reminded. It is out and ready.
4

Student has the music folder out and ready as soon as they enter the music room.
Participation

1

Student is often distracted, talks when others are talking, or does not demonstrate an appropriate level of effort in rehearsal.
2

Student displays a inconsistent effort for the majority of rehearsal as well as the lack of effort in the solfege exercises. Does not follow along in the music.
3

Student displays an attentive effort for the majority of rehearsal, and shows a satisfactory level of effort in completing solfege exercises.
4

Student displays an attentive attitude and puts forth a high level of effort. Student shows initiative in completing solfege exercises when applicable, without complaining.
Vocal Technique

1

Student demonstrates poor posture, breath support, vowel placement, diction and tone quatlity throughout the entire reherasal and doesn't seem to care to change this behavior.

Student demonstrates poor posture, breath support, vowel placement,diction and tone quality throughout the majority of the rehearsal.
3

Student demonstrates very good posture, breath support, vowel placement, diction and tone quality. Demonstration of these, however, is inconsistent throughout rehearsal.
4

Student demonstrates excellent posture, breath support, vowel placement, diction and tone quality on a consistent basis.
