Clairity	Poor Journal is not-descriptive and unclear. There is no clear explanation of anything observed.	Fair Journal entry is not very clear. There is no evidence of a sequence of events and the statements are scattered and vague.	Good Journal entries clearly explained for the most part in a descriptive form what you observed using the proper terminology and it included ,most of the required facts.	Advanced Journal entries clearly explained in a descriptive form what you observed using the proper terminology and it includes the required facts.
Correctness	Poor Many spelling and grammar errors.(6 or more)	Fair There are 4-5 spelling errors or grammar mistakes.	Good There are 1-3 spelling and or grammar mistakes.	Advanced There are no spelling or grammar mistakes.
Organization	Poor Journal is incomplete and does not include required data, and or does not include each day of cycle.	Fair Journal only contains a few paragraphs and for the most part does contain required data for each day of cycle.	Good Journal is organized, for the most part and ncludes most of the days of cycle and includes 90% of pertinent data from observation during clinical.	Advanced The journal is organized and includes all of the days of the cycle and all of the pertinent data from observation during clinical.
Due Date	Poor Journal turned in 5 days or more after due date.	Fair Journal completed 3-4- days late after the required due date.	Good Journal was turned in 1-2 days late.	Advanced Journal was turned in on time on the actual date that it was due.
Palm Pilot	Poor Palm Pilot was not used at all to do the journal.	Fair Palm Pilot was used for part of the assignment and the rest was written.	Good The Palm Pilot was used for 90% of the journal entries and there for a few mistakes were made.	Advanced Palm Pilot was used and there were no mistakes.
