Poor
Learner left out half or more than half of the information requested.
Very Poor
Learner was unable to show evidence of having learned how to speak or write about the description of a person of his/her own choosing.
Pronunciation/Spoken Presentation.
Excellent
Learner was highly comprehensible, spoke clearly and self-corrected if mistakes were made midstream while describing.
Good
Learner was comprehensible, spoke clearly but did not self-correct, rather just ignored his/her mistakes, however few.
Fair
Learner was not comprehensible most of the time, did not speak clearly, thoughts, words were broken up with anglicisms. The learner made several mistakes and was not in total control of the presentation.
Poor
Learner's presentation was not comprehensible. The language was incorrect and did not resemble the way that real people speak. It was like listening to a school report instead of something that should be exciting and real.
Very Poor
Learner was unable to show evidence of being able to communicate in French. Incomprehensible, no language at all or in English.
Spelling/Written Presentation
Excellent
Learner was able to correctly write and spell his/her words for his/her description. Self-corrected if needed.
Good
Learner was able to correctly write and spell some of the words but did not self-correct.
Fair
Learner was only able to spell correctly about half of the time, if that. The language was comprehensible, just incorrectly presented.
Poor
Learner could demonstrate little ability to write in French -- there was a minimal amount of words written in this presentation.
Very Poor
Learner was unable to demonstrate ability to write the words correctly. Did not demonstrate.
Creativity
Excellent

Good
Learner was able to show glimmers of style through the presentation yet still seemed to present in an unauthentic way.
Fair
Learner fulfilled the assignment yet not with any signature or trademark. The assignment satisfied all of the above yet seemed only adequate in terms of adding anything more to the presentation.
Poor
Learner was not prepared for this presentation. Although the learner attempted the assignment, he/she did not have the skills to add anything more to it due to being ill-equipped to function on a basic basis.
Very Poor
Learner was unable to demonstrate creativity simply due to not having met prior learning goals.
