Good

Learner was comprehensible, spoke clearly but did not self-correct, rather just ignored his/her mistakes, however few.
Fair

Learner was not comprehensible most of the time, did not speak clearly, thoughts, words were broken up with anglicisms. The learner made several mistakes and was not in total control of the presentation.
Poor

Learner's presentation was not comprehensible. The language was incorrect and did not resemble the way that real people speak. It was like listening to a school report instead of something that should be exciting and real.
Very Poor

Learner was unable to show evidence of being able to communicate in French. Incomprehensible, no language at all or in English.
Spelling/Written Presentation

Excellent

Learner was able to correctly write and spell his/her words for his/her description. Self-corrected if needed.
