Good The portfolio is missing some important information and lacks organization.	Excellent The portfolio is complete. Content is displayed appropriately, but may be inconsistently organized.	Outstanding The portfolio is a well organized, comprehensive document that displays its contents professionally.
Competencies	Poor The student demonstrates an under-standing of less than half the competencies identified for his/her grade level.	Fair The student understands at least half of the skills identified for his/her grade, but may struggle to apply them to his/her life.	Good The student understands most of the competencies identified for his/her grade.	Excellent The student understands the competencies identified for his/her grade level and how they apply to his/her life.	Outstanding The student has an excellent understanding of all the competencies identified for his/her grade level and can apply them to his/her life.
Confident in self	Poor Not prepared to discuss self or portfolio.	Fair Hesitant and/or ill-prepared to share portfolio. Needed considerable coaching.
