	Exemplary 5 pts	Proficient 4 pts	Developing 3 pts
Statement Itself	Exemplary Statement is creative and has a powerful message. It is well thought out .	Proficient Statement is relevant to the topic and shows an understanding of the concept presented.	Developing Statement is awkward, hard to follow and/or overly simplistic.
Work Quality	Exemplary Work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. Excellent quality. There is 4+ colors and at least one visual concept. Very little white paper showing.	Proficient The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It has at least 3 colors and may have much of the paper still left white.	Developing Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. The work appears rushed or only has words or may lack visual appeal.
Conventions	Exemplary No errors in spelling, capitalization or punctuation.	Proficient One error in spelling, capitalization and/or punctuation.	Developing More than one spelling, capitalization and/or punctuation error.
