Euthanasia in "The Giver" Debate 
This debate is one of two benchmark assignments that will be conducted after reading our second novel. This debate will require that you work in designated groups to argue for or against Euthanasia, one of many controversial issues in the Giver. Group transcripts for this debate is due on February 09, 2017. This will be presented in the form of a debate, in class on February 10, 2017. Oral Presentation During Debate

Needs Improvement

Team members did not work together effectively therefore disrupting the overall debate presentation, which was also affected by a very poorly executed oral presentation of ideas during debate.

Team members made an effort to work together however most times it was apparent that there was little cohesion and oral presentation of ideas during debate was poor.

Team members, on the most part, worked well together. Debate ideas were somewhat presented well with many glaring inconsistencies and mistakes made by team members.

Team members, on the most part, worked well together. Debate was great with a few glaring inconsistencies and mistakes made by team members.
