The story has short simple sentences and short paragraphs, but the writer may ramble. An attempt at rhythm and/or rhyme is made, but it is not always successful. Some description is included. The story has a basic plot or organization, but it is not very creative.
Poor

The story does not have short simple sentences. The story has very little description and does not sound good read out loud. It may retell a known story and is not original.
