Capitalization The sentence begins with a capital letter.	Below Average The sentence does not begin with a capital letter and has at least one capitalization error.	Average The sentence has more than one error in capitalization.	Above Average The sentence begins with a capital letter and has no capitalization errors.
Subject Does the sentence contain a subject?	Below Average The sentence does not have a subject.	Average The sentence has a subject, but it is used or placed incorrectly.	Above Average The sentence has a subject with is used and placed correctly.
Verb Does the sentence contain a verb and is it used correctly?	Below Average The sentence does not have a verb.	Average The sentence has a verb, but it is used or placed incorrectly.	Above Average The sentence has a verb which is used and placed correctly.
