Organization	Poor Reader/observer has difficulty understanding topical information because bulletin board displays no logic or sequence of the information.	Unsatisfactory Reader/observer has difficulty understanding topical information because bulletin board displays little logic or sequence of the information.	Satisfactory Board presents topical information in logical sequence which reader/observer can follow.	Excellent Board presents topical information in logical, interesting sequence which reader/observer can follow.
Subject Knowledge	Poor Fails to demonstrate knowledge of topical information.	Unsatisfactory Demonstrates a minimal grasp of knowledge by displaying superficial facts with no explanations or elaborations.	Satisfactory Demonstrates adequate knowledge by displaying topical information with explanations but little elaboration.	Excellent Demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by displaying topical information with explanations and elaboration.
Graphics	Poor Graphics are inappropriate, superfluous or no graphics, Source of graphics is not displayed.	Unsatisfactory Graphics are somewhat appropriate and give little support to topical information. Some graphics do not have source displayed.	Satisfactory Graphics are appropriate for public display and relate to topical information. Source of graphics is displayed. Aesthetics	Poor The board is distractingly messy or very poorly designed. It is not attractive.	Unsatisfactory The board is acceptably attractive though it may be a bit messy. Mechanics	Poor Bulletin Board has four or more spelling errors and/or grammatical errors.	Unsatisfactory Bulletin Board has three misspellings and/or grammatical errors.	Satisfactory Bulletin Board has no more than two misspellings and/or grammatical errors.	Excellent Bulletin Board has no misspellings or grammatical errors.
