Midterm Monologue Midterm Monologue Students must write a monologue and perform it from memory. The monologue can be about anything or one (can be already created character or one that you made up). Students need to follow the script writing rules for this assignment. It needs to be 1/2-1 page typed, with no larger than 14 pt. font. Performance 10 pts	Poor The student displayed little to no performance techniques which did not at all go well with their monologue.	Fair The student displayed some performance techniques which sometimes went well with their monologue.	Excellent The student displayed excellent performance techniques which went well with their monologue.
Creativity 10 pts	Poor The script lacked creative elements.	Fair The script has some elements of creativity.	Excellent The script demonstrates an ecxeptional amount of creativity.
Memorization 10 pts	Poor The student was unable to perform monologue from memory.	Fair The student remember most lines of the the monologue with prompts.	Excellent The student performed monologue from memory with few prompts.
Script Writing Principles 10 pts	Poor Does not follow the basic rules for script writing. Has many writing/spelling errors.	Fair Follows the basic rules for script writing sometimes and has few writing/spelling errors.	Excellent Always follows the basic rules for script writing with minor errors and has partically no writing/spelling errors.
