Excellent

The student submitted a paper that includes all three portions of a proper paper and is laid out in a logical and orderly manner.

Unacceptable

The student failed to turn in their paper.
Poor

The student submitted a paper filled with more then twenty mechanical errors
Average

The student turned in a paper with eleven to twenty mechanical errors.
Good

The student turned in a paper with between five and ten mechanical errors.
Excellent

The student turned in a paper with fewer then five mechanical errors.

Unacceptable

The student failed to turn in their paper or paper received was largely plagiarized.
Poor

The student submitted a paper that was poorly research, or lacking in sufficient details to back up their stated points. The paper was less two pages or less.
Average

The student submitted a paper that was averagely researched but failed to support their conclusion with factual data from their research sources. The paper was three pages or less.
Good

The student submitted a paper that was well researched, however not all statements were supported with facts or examples. The paper was four pages.
Excellent

The student submitted a paper that was excellently researched with all stated points backed up with relevant data and opinions properly supported. The paper was the required five pages.
Resource List

Unacceptable

The student failed to turn in their paper.
Poor

The student failed to supply a list of resources used for their paper in a reference page.
Average

The student supplied a reference page, however resources chosen were not from scholarly sources or were improperly cited.
Good

The student used proper scholarly resources and formatted their resource list properly however failed to find the proper number of resources.
Excellent

The student used three to five scholarly resources and properly created their reference page.
Deadlines

Unacceptable

The student failed to turn in any segment of their report.
Poor

The student failed to turn in their outline, rough draft, and final paper in a timely manner.
Average

The student failed to turn in two sections of their report in a timely manner, however one section was received on time.
Good

The student failed to turn in one section their report in timely manner, however two sections were turned in on time.
Excellent

The student turned in all sections of the paper in a prompt and timely manner.
