Math Project Rubric Math Project Rubric Students will create a project to demonstrate their understanding of representing integers. Rubric Code: FXB9W9W By lavigmar Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Math Type: Project Grade Levels: 6-8

Integer Project
	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Display	Excellent Creative display with a variety of materials and high creativity.	Good Display with materials and some creativity.	Fair Display with minimal materials and creativity.	Poor Display is not neat and rushed.
Explanation	Excellent Math concept is fully understood and very detailed. It is very easy to follow and understand.	Good Math concept is understood; however, project lacks detail. It is easy to follow and understand.	Fair Math concept is not fully understood or project lacks sufficient detail to make an assessment. The project is difficult to understand and not overly easy to follow.	Poor It is clear that the Math concept is not understood . The project lacks effort, detail and it is difficult to understand.
Integers	Excellent Numbers are clear, correct and logical.	Good Numbers are clear and most are correct with some order shown.	Fair Numbers are attempted but out of order.	Poor Numbers are not clear or correct.
In Class Work Effort	Excellent Used all time effectively in class and completed work diligently.	Good Used time effectively, but still social.	Fair Used time somewhat effectively, but was loud and off task.	Poor Did not use time effectively in class.
