CLASS ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION CLASS ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION Regular, punctual attendance and active engagement are expected from all students in this class. ATTENDANCE	Excellent EXCELLENT Student was present for every class.	Good GOOD Student was absent 5 times or fewer (excluding lessons and field trips).	Fair FAIR Student was absent 7 times or fewer (excluding lessons and field trips).	Poor POOR Student was absent for more than 7 classes (excluding lessons and field trips).
PUNCTUALITY	Excellent EXCELLENT Student was always on time for class (in his/her seat when the bell rings).	Good GOOD Student was usually on time (was late to class only 1 or 2 times).	Fair FAIR Student was often on time (was late to class 3-4 times).	Poor POOR Student was often late (5+ times).
LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT AND BEHAVIOR	Excellent EXCELLENT Student was fully engaged and actively involved during every class.	Good GOOD Student was usually engaged.	Fair FAIR<BR> Student was sometimes engaged and/or sometimes off-task, sleeping, etc.	Poor POOR<BR> Student was often not engaged, and/or sleepy, off-task, etc.
