The Four Types of Sentences
	Advance 4 pts	Proficient 3 pts	Basic 2 pts	Below Basic 1 pts
List (4) four kinds of Sentences	Advance Student correctly listed all (4) four kinds of sentences.	Proficient Student correctly listed three (3) of the four (4) kinds of sentences.	Basic Student correctly listed at least two (2) of the four (4) kinds of sentences.	Below Basic Student was unable to list more than one (1) of the four (4) kinds of sentences.
Ending Punctuation	Advance Student was able to correctly list the ending punctuation of all four (4) kinds of sentences.	Proficient Student was able to correctly list the ending punctuation for at least three (3) kinds of sentences.	Basic Student was able to correctly list the ending punctuation of at least two (2) kinds of sentences.	Below Basic Student was unable to correctly list the ending punctuation of more than one (1) kind of sentence.
Example of each kind of sentence	Advance Student was able to correctly give one example of each of the four (4) kinds of sentences.	Proficient Student was able to correctly give one example of at least three (3) kinds of sentences.	Basic Student was able to correctly give one example of at least two (2) kinds of sentences.	Below Basic Student was unable to give correct examples of more than one (1) kind of sentence.
