Focus	Poor Student makes no effort to answer the question. Or is untruthful. Example: The student writes, "I don't know."	Fair Very little effort was made to answer the Ticket question.	Good The student has made a serious effort to answer the Ticket question.
Participation	Poor No effort has gone into the Ticket. The Ticket was not turned in	Fair Very little effort has gone into the assignment	Good It is EVIDENT that effort has gone into the Ticket./ assignment
Problem solving	Poor make little to no effort to solve his/her own problems	Fair often asks for teacher help when answer has been given and can be quickly found	Good works independently using research partner when needed
