Ideas

NO information on this topic. no main idea/thesis that is clear and understood.

unprepared, unfocused and tending to go off topic. examples do not always support ideas, ideas/thesis is unclear.

somewhat know the topic. off topic in some parts. few examples.no strong support of ideas/thesis.

some knowledge of the topic and trying to stay on topic most of the time. some examples and details to support ideas/thesis.

clear and concise and use good detail to support ideas/thesis.

topic well known grabs the reader's interest and keep him/her reading. a very clear thesis and supportive examples. It has a "wow" factor!
Organization

There are noticeable, minor errors. message is still clear. This paper shows control over basic conventions (i.e. capitalization).
