Needed to be taken out of the activity and still caused disruption to the whole class.

Student needed be taken out the activity but after a few minutes came back and did not cause anymore problems.

Student was well behaved and did not cause any disruptions.
Usinging their singing voice

Student was either not trying or deliberately using their incorrect voice style to distract/disrupt class.

Student was shouting or using a different voice then singing. If student needed to be reminded more then 3 times then the student may receive 2 points instead of 3.

Complete use of their singing voice, 1 to 2 blemishes outside the singing voice may be allowed and still receive 3 points.
Hand Signs
Poor
Student was not trying to use hand signs. Any effort receives at least 2 points for this criterion
Fair
Student was using hand signs but did not distinguish between high and low sounds.
Also students whom are just following fit a 2. This is shown by them always being one or two signs behind the instructor.
Good
Student was trying to use their hand signs and got most of them correct and they symbolized the high and low sounds.
Solfege Worksheet
Poor
Student had incorrect answers (4+) and/or did not try.
Fair
Student completed the worksheet and missed only 2-3 questions.
Good
Student completed the worksheet. Student can miss one question and still receive a 3
