Anecdotes	Excellent Student writes and anecdote that is detailed and explicit. The anecdote provides support of and insight to the hero	Good Anecdote provides an example to support the characters and is detailed.	Fair Anecdote provides an example, but it does not support the characteristic well.	Poor Anecdote is unrelated to the characteristics.
Organization	Excellent Essay includes a strong beginning, middle, and end. The paper includes transitions and a good closure.	Good Essay includes a good beginning, middle, and end. The paper is a little choppy.	Fair Essay includes a beginning, middle, and end. It does not flow all that well.	Poor Essay is unorganized and does not flow well.
