Ted Harrison Water-Colour Painting Picasso Cubist/Self-Portrait Students will create a composition from lines and shapes. Students will demonstrate water-colour painting techniques and material care. Content Comprehension	Level 4 -Student demonstrates excellent understanding of line and shape through their Ted Harrison inspired self-portrait. (Student followed project guidelines)	Level 3 -Student demonstrates good understanding of line through their Ted Harrison inspired landscape.	Level 2 -Student demonstrates some understanding of line through their Ted Harrison inspired art work .	Level 1 -Student demonstrates limited understanding of line through their Ted Harrison inspired art work.
Use of Line/Shape	Level 4 -Student found at least four shapes and expertly used line to define them.	Level 3 -Student found at least three shapes and expertly used line to define them.	Level 2 -Student found at least two shapes and expertly used line to define them.	Level 1 -Student found at least one shape and expertly used line to define it.
Craftsmanship	Level 4 -Student’s project is neat & clean. Student understood materials and used them properly. (Pieces glued down, full coverage of work space, shapes completely colored in).	Level 3 -Student’s project is neat & clean. Student mostly understood materials and used them properly.	Level 2 -Student’s project is fairly neat & clean. Student had trouble with materials and their useage.	Level 1 -Student’s project was constructed carelessly and is sloppy. Student did not understood materials or use them properly.
Effort/Time	Level 4 -Student applied maximum effort regardless of his/her skill level and used his/her time wisely.	Level 3 -Student applied decent effort regardless of his/her skill level and used his/her time wisely.	Level 2 -Student applied minimum effort regardless of his/her skill level and occasionally used his/her time wisely.
