Presentations/ Research Papers
Students will research the subject as noted in the guidelines Students will provide a 4 page typed paper along with a one page bibliography siting all resources used in developing the research paper. -Students will provide either a power point presentation or a Poster in order to evoke the interest of their classmates. --Students will use index cards to provide backup for their presentation. No reading from the posters. Presentation will be graded on thoroughness of subject matter Ability of the presenter to evoke the interest of their classmates by capturing their attention.

Some pictures present, however somewhat vague and incomplete as applied to over all project

Power point or Poster was quite colorful, provided a sense of "complementing" the presentation and making it more complete.
Presentation style
Poor
Read from the poster directly. Project was pretty much random. No clear pattern of organization present. Appeared scattered and no well prepared to present.
Fair
Attempted to use note cards as needed. Was somewhat spontaneous and lively in presentation style. Still lacked clarity and organization was somewhat sketchy.
Good
Well organized, thought provoking. Used index cards as a back up only. Was well versed in subject matter. Encouraged questions by listeners.
