Insect to Super Hero Rubric 
The students will create a pictorial model of a chosen insect turned into a super hero. They will complete a profile on the selected insect. They will present their Super Hero under 3 minutes.

Exceeds

The student has put exceptional time and effort into the details of their Super Hero.
Good-Meet standards

The model includes all required characteristics of the Super Hero, but some of the bugs characteristics were missed when creating the Super Hero.
Fair

The model is missing one or two characteristics of the Super Hero; the Super Hero could have more super powers or super abilities.
Poor

The model is missing three or more characteristics of the Super Hero. It is clear that the student didn't spend any time thinking on the task.
Work quality/effort of model

Exceeds

The student has put exceptional time and effort into making the model appear realistic. It not only has the necessary labelled parts but has mini descriptions for the body parts.
Good-Meet standards

The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this model. Model looks like the intended insect.
Fair

Model is structurally correct, but only fair effort was used to make the model look like intended insect. Quality is still not what the learner is capable of.
Poor

Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Model is incomplete.
Presentation

Exceeds

The student spoke clearly and presented their information with complete understanding of the insect. It is evident that the student had prepared what they will say.
Good-Meet standards

The student spoke clearly and presented a good amount of the information about their arthropod as expected.
Fair

The student did not appear to understand or know information about their insect.
Poor

The student chose not to speak.
Neatness-Written Facts

Exceeds

Project exceptionally neat. Clearly, extra effort was made to attend to details. Uses Nice writing and rulers when necessary as well as colours.
Good-Meet standards

Project very neat. Nice handwriting or typing was used. It was evident that the student took their time to make the project look nice.
Fair

The report lack neatness and clarity.
Poor

It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product.
