World Religion Project/Presentation Rubric
You will be trying to "walk in the shoes" of someone from a different religion. You will be finding out and presenting what your religion is like to others to our class through a ppt or keynote presentation. Keep these elements in mind: • Historical background information • Basic belief system (one god, many gods, etc.) • Sacred texts • Key leaders • Sacred spaces and places • Rituals, services, or ceremonies • Symbolism • Holidays, festivals and celebrations

Group is at ease with the information; he/she is able to add some additional information to the presentation, but fails to elaborate. Can answer most questions posed by the audience.
Outstanding
Group demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) with explanations and elaboration that enhance the presentation. All items of the Matrix are in the report and presentation. Can answer all questions posed by the audience or is willing to find the answer and report back.

Outstanding
Presentation offers a combination of easy-to-read words of appropriate length, interesting and appropriate graphics, and vibrant colors. It is a delight to watch a unique presentation like this! Use of a wide variety of materials such as photos, video clips, costumes.

Student made a contribution, although did not take on any real responsibility for the ideas, or completion of the project

Student offered ideas, made some contribution, but allowed others in the group to lead.

Outstanding
Student showed excellent leadership in the group, gave ideas, made contributions to the group, listened to others ideas, delegated to others in the group.
