The level of detail in each question is sufficient. The student has engaged with the text; however, more textual detail would enhance answers and make thinking visible.

The level of detail in each question is excellent. Engagement is highly evident, and textual details are relevant. The student has connected fully with the literature, and thinking is clearly visible.

Assignment was handed in late and no valid excuse was given.
Approaching the Standard

Assignment was handed in late, but teacher allowed extra time.
Meets the Standard

Assignment was handed in the same date but not in class period.
Exceeds the Standard

Assignment was handed in on time.
