The Composer creates a cohesive dance and successfully communicates respectfully both verbally and physically with Dancers. The Dancers give respectful verbal and physical feedback and comply with the Composers needs/requests.
Good

The Composer communicate choreography with dancers through eye contact and facial and body expression but no verbal commands. The Dancers give physical feedback, but do not communicate verbally.
Acceptable

The Composer shows what they want. The Dancer complies.
Partial

The Composer is generally focused, but only some attempt made to communicate wishes with the Dancers. The Dancers are generally focused on what the Composer wants.
Minimal

The Composer is not very focused on creating a dance. The Dancers are not very focused on being in the composition.
Rhythm/Tempo

Staying on count and with the beats of the music.
Excellent

Shows a complete understanding of tempo and beat and stays on rhythm throughout the dance.

Accurate in beat, tempo, rhythms of dance sequences throughout the dance.
