Understanding Stereotypes
Students will spend three days learning and self-reflecting on the meaning of stereotypes, their personal experiences, and how they effect our school, community, and world. They will discover these things by participating in class discussions, physically moving around the room exploring other people’s opinions, answering introspective questions, working with their peers in collaborative groups, and writing a short paper about personal experiences with bias.
