Video Editing Rubric
	Exemplary (10 - 8 pts) 10 pts	Good (7-5 pts) 7 pts	Poor (4-below) 4 pts
Time	Exemplary (10 - 8 pts) The video is between 2 and 3 minutes long.	Good (7-5 pts) The video is less than 15 seconds short of 2 minutes or less than 15 seconds longer than 3 minutes	Poor (4-below) The video is less than 1 minute 45 seconds long or more than 3 minutes 15 seconds.
Still Images and Text	Exemplary (10 - 8 pts) The video contains still images and/or Text that significantly add to the presentation. All the still images and/or Text help to enhance the understanding of the ideas presented in the video	Good (7-5 pts) The video contains still images and/or Text that most of the time add to the presentation. Most of the still images and/or Text enhance the understanding of the ideas presented in the video.	Poor (4-below) The video contains still images and/or Text that do not add to the presentation or are unrelated to the topic. The still images and/or Text do not enhance the understanding of the ideas presented in the project.
Transitions	Exemplary (10 - 8 pts) The video contains coherent transitions from one image to the next that do not distract from the presentation. The transitions are limited to 2-4 types of transitions.	Good (7-5 pts) The video contains transitions. Some of the transitions distract from the presentation or there are more than 4 types of transitions.	Poor (4-below) The video does not contain any transitions.
Special Effects	Exemplary (10 - 8 pts) The video contains special effects that enhance the overall presentation.	Good (7-5 pts) The video contains some special effects but they may distract from the presentation.	Poor (4-below) The video contains no visible special effects.
