Historical Site Research Report Landmarks Research Project Each student chose a Historical Site in their community to research. First they completed a graphic organizer. Second, they wrote their first draft, and then they revised/edited. Finally, they wrote their final report. Good Content in final report includes 5 out of 6 of the following: Title, location, description, date, who built it or how it came to be, and importance to our community.	Fair Content in final report includes 4 out of 6 of the following: Title, location, description, date, who built it or how it came to be, and importance to our community.	Poor Content in final report includes 3 or less of the following: Title, location, description, date, who built it or how it came to be, and importance to our community.
Organization	Excellent -Structure of research is clear and easy to read.	Good - Structure of research is mostly clear and easy to read.	Fair - Structure of research is not easy to read.	Poor - Organization and structure are confusing.
Sentence Structures	Excellent - Assignment is written in clear / complete sentences with correct spellings, punctuations, and capital letters where needed.	Good - Assignment is easy to read yet has some spelling, punctuation, or capitalization errors.	Fair - Assignment is lacking clear structure and contains many spelling errors.	Poor - Assignment has only phrases or run-on sentences. Spelling errors and lack of neatness. Work is difficult to read and understand.
