Career Exploration PowerPoint Career Exploration PowerPoint Directions: Create and present a PowerPoint presentation based upon the Career Research worksheet. The purpose of this presentation is to inform the class about the chosen occupation. Refer to the topics listed below for the required elements to be included in the PowerPoint presentation. Clarity/neatness	Poor The Power Point is very confusing and difficult to follow. It is not eye-catching.	Fair The Power Point may or may not be eye-catching and is difficult to follow. Effectiveness of Presentat	Poor Not prepared to present.	Fair Slides were vague and brief concerning the subject.	Good Seemed prepared; however, was sometimes vague on the details.	Exemplary Clearly prepared and thoroughly covered each slide, leaving the class with a clear understanding of the career.
Citations	Poor No copyright guidelines are followed and some information, photos and graphics do not use proper citations. Good Most sources of information use proper citation, and sources are documented to make it possible to check on the accuracy of information. Animation/Transition	Poor The presentation contains very few animations or slide transitions.	Fair The presentation does not contain animations and slide transitions with every slide. Some animations and/or transitions detract from the presentaton or subject matter.	Good The presentation contains animations and slide transitions with every slide and they fit the subject matter.	Exemplary The presentation contains enough animations and slide transitions to make the presentation interesting and fun to watch.
Timing	Poor The presentation had no timing.	Fair The presentation did not have timing through entire slide show. Timing of slides was uneven and did not flow well.	Good The presentaion was timed but the slide show was uneven and did not flow effeciantly.	Exemplary The presesntation completely ran by itself with no prompting. Timing was well thought out and slide show ran effeciantly
