Setting	Limited Student has no understanding of what the setting is.	Devloping Student attempts to provide setting but is incorrect.	Proficient Student can identify when and where the story takes place.
Character	Limited Student tries but is unable to name a character from the story.	Devloping Student can name a character in the story.	Proficient Student can identify the characters that are important to the story.
