	Poor 5 pts	Fair 10 pts	Good 20 pts
Research	Poor Student has not done research and presents findings on topic poorly	Fair Student has done some research, but not enought to prove a point	Good Student has done a lof of reserach and proves point clearly and effectively.
Organization/Format 10-15 pages MLA format	Poor There is no sense of organization in this paper.	Fair There is some organization, but it is not consistent.	Good Paper is well organized and very consistent
Grammar	Poor Student has poor grammar in this paper.	Fair Students grammar is okay, but can use direction and proof reading.	Good Students grammar is great, and very well written.
Focus/Thesis	Poor The focus in the paper is not present.	Fair The focus in the paper is present, yet hard to find	Good The focus of the paper is present and clear through out.
Citation At least 6 sources 2 of which are hard sources.	Poor Student has little or no citing of any research done. Needs to speak to me	Fair Student has citing some research, but not in the right way or not consistently	Good Student has successfully cited sources properly
