Organization/Focus	Beginning There is no structure to the essay and it does not contain a strong lead.	Developing There is some structure to the essay but the lead is not strong and does not convince the reader of the author's position.	Accomplished The essay is well organized, the reader can follow the argument/position of the author and there is a strong lead.
Evidence/Images	Beginning The essay does not contain the required number of sources and no images are present.	Developing The essay contains some but not all of the required sources and no images.	Accomplished The essay contains all six of the required sources with two sources being scholarly sources and has images that are appropriate to the essay's content.
