	Developing 1 pts	Average 5 pts	Excellence 10 pts	Mastery 15 pts
Behaviours/Consequences	Developing There are no behaviours or consequences of addiction.	Average There is some mention or allusion to behaviours or consequences in the presentation, but these are unclear.	Excellence There are a few behaviours and consequences mentioned in the presentation.	Mastery There are many behaviours and consequences in the presentation and the causes are clear and realistic.
Presentation	Developing Students do not do presentation. Topic is not expressed well or is minimized.	Average Students do not communicate effectively or appropriately. Topic is expressed.	Excellence Students communicate their ideas effectively and appropriately. Importance of topic is expressed.	Mastery Students comfort with the audience is clear. The presentation is done very effectively and with an approriate tone. Importance of topic is expressed well.
Organization	Developing Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information.	Average Audience has difficulty following presentation because students jump around.	Excellence Students present information in logical sequence which audience can follow.	Mastery Students present information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow.
Written Conventions	Developing 5 or more errors in spelling/grammar	Average 3-4 errors in spelling/grammar	Excellence 1-2 errors in spelling/grammar	Mastery No errors in spelling/grammar
Information	Developing Information is sketchy, no examples or resources.	Average Information is available, but could be organized better.	Excellence Information is through and clearly organized.	Mastery Information is through, well organized, with examples. Some extra information provided.
