Story Cards Character Cards Using the MTG Card creation program online, students will create story cards as presented in the outline. They will find or create images for each card and desribe each with 4-6 sentences. Rubric Code: DXX97B3 By dteh99 Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: English Type: Project Grade Levels: 6-8

5-6 Descriptive traits	Fair Traits were not described fully. They offer very little into understanding of the concept.	Good Traits were described; showed some effort. Traits may or may not give insight into understanding the concept.	Excellence Traits were described fully. Traits starting to give insight and depth of the concept.	Mastery Traits were described fully with strong attention to detail. Traits give exceptional insight and depth into the concept.
Sentence structure/conventions	Fair Sentences were poorly constructed/incomplete with little detail or attention to writing conventions.	Good Sentences did not provide adequate detail or were poorly constructed with some attention to writing conventions such as capitalization and punctuation.	Excellence Sentences were complete with adequate detail and show very good attention to writing conventions such as capitalization and punctuation.	Mastery Sentences were well developed and showed strong attention to writing conventions such as capitalization and proper punctuation.
Grammar	Fair Several mistakes were made in spelling and/or grammar throughout the project. The mistakes make a significant impact on the readability of the character cards. Excellence Spelling and/or grammar errors were minimal and did not effect the readability of the character cards.	Mastery There were no errors in spelling and grammar.
