Powerful Writing 
This writing needs to be powerful, memorable, provocative, and moving. It can be suitable of many genres such as memoir, argument, and letters. (This rubric is in response to an assignment for a National Writing Project reading. It is to help a teacher look at assessment of writing differently.)

The writing may have some grammatical issues, develops with some stumbling blocks, shows and tells.
