5th Grade Movement Composition
Students are to create a movement routine in partners that shows a minimum of 7 different movements, as well as responding to the music heard in the song. The routine needs to have two different, but noticeable, movement sections and a tableau pose for the ending. Students will apply the creative process to the composition of movement pieces, using the elements of exercise and music to communicate feelings (facial expression) and ideas.
