Playing Tests
	Standard not Met 1 pts	Approaching Standard 2 pts	Standard Met 3 pts	Above Standard 4 pts	Exceeding Standard 5 pts
Tone	Standard not Met Tone is not well supported and airy. Notes are not clearly produced.<BR> <BR>	Approaching Standard Tone is not well supported, but notes are all audible.<BR> <BR>	Standard Met Tone is fairly supported with moments of breathiness.<BR> <BR>	Above Standard Tone is consistantly supported.<BR> <BR>	Exceeding Standard Tone is well supported and clear on all notes.<BR> <BR>
Notes	Standard not Met Majority of fingerings are not known, and the student cannot change between notes.	Approaching Standard Fingerings are sometimes correct, but student cannot change between notes without hesitation.	Standard Met Fingerings are mostly correct, but changes between notes can be muddy at times.	Above Standard All fingerings are correct but changes are not all clean.	Exceeding Standard All fingerings are correct, and changes between fingerings are clean.
Rhythm	Standard not Met Majority of the rhythms are not known.	Approaching Standard Rhythms are sometimes correct, but there is hesitation.	Standard Met Rhythms are mostly correct with few variations.	Above Standard Rhythms are generally correct with some discrepancy is releases and/or rest length.	Exceeding Standard All rhythms are performed correctly. Starts and releases are well timed.
Articulation/Sticking	Standard not Met Notes are not tongued and have no definite start or end.<BR>	Approaching Standard Notes are not appropriately tongued.<BR> <BR>	Standard Met Notes are mostly tongued correctly.<BR> <BR>	Above Standard Notes are tongued clearly and regularly.<BR> <BR>	Exceeding Standard Notes are tongued consistently according to the written musical articulation.<BR> <BR>
Posture/Positioning	Standard not Met Student is slouched and/or rests his/her instrument or arms on his/her lap. <BR> <BR> Feet are not flat on the floor.	Approaching Standard Student is slouched.<BR> <BR> Feet are flat on the floor sometimes.	Standard Met Student begins sitting up straight but slouches as he/she plays.<BR> <BR> Feet are flat on the floor the majority of the time with some variation.	Above Standard Student is a little slouched as he/she plays. <BR> <BR> Feet are flat on the floor the majority of the time, with few variations.	Exceeding Standard Student sits up straight through the entire exercise/piece. <BR> <BR> Feet are flat on the floor.
